“Kate was an invaluable asset during my wedding planning as well as on the big day!
She helped me listen to and honor myself throughout the entire process, prioritize what was really important instead of being consumed by stressful family drama, and face my fears while discovering my inner strength and self worth.
Her calming nature and experienced guidance helped to keep me grounded, connected, and present. My wedding was a deeply spiritual and transformative experience for me, and she helped me make the most of it every step of the way.
I was so grateful to have her insight, wisdom and support! Thank you, Kate!” – Crystal, 2014

“Kate was the most amazing help to me on my wedding day. Many members of a bridal party are often focused on their own needs, but Kate my wedding doula was 100% focused on my physical and emotional well being.
I felt so supported and loved. She is one of the most intuitive, supportive people I’ve ever met and I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Having Kate be my wedding doula was the best decision I made for my wedding weekend!
She patiently listened to me in the months leading up to the big day, asking me questions that helped me to reflect and enjoy the process.
I know that I could relax and enjoy the process of wedding planning so much more because Kate was there to guide me.”
“My doula [Kate] was the BEST as she made us a video that included footage of our ceremony. We did not have any video done so this was such a surprise and something we will cherish forever. She sent us the video a few weeks after the wedding that also included personal pictures she took herself.”
“One thing she [Kate] ended up doing was actually caring for my future husband. I know this isn’t usually in the purview of her duties, but because it was thing I was most anxious about she came to the rescue. He had partied way too hard the night before and not slept well. She fed him coconut juice, fruit and encouraged him to take a nap. She also helped me get grounded with some meditation, kept my hydrated, made sure I ate something, and spritzed me with lovely scents which she equated to grounding, empowering emotions.
She [Kate] offered unbiased support. She was not involved in the wedding planning so she was not emotionally attached to any choices made. She was great at giving advice from her personal experiences with her wedding but she was also there to just talk things through.
Would you recommend a wedding doula to other women? Why?
“Yes. My family and friends were wonderful, supportive and helpful but I still needed a wedding doula. I can’t imagine if I had an anxious mother, overbearing mother-in-law, or some sort of family drama on top of the inevitable stress and emotions around getting married. You pour so much money and planning into this one day, a wedding doula helps you be able to actually enjoy it by empowering you to feel your best spiritually, emotionally and physically.”
“Yes. So much time during wedding planning is spent on literally just the wedding. It is so helpful and necessary to think past the wedding into the marriage. A doula can help with these emotions and what it means to BE married not to GET married.”
